I've got a bike, you can ride it if you like...

The naughty cold has gotten to me again leaving me nothing else to do but sit at home and watch TV, sleep, knit (very slowly) and drink lots of honey lemon tea

Day time TV is pretty ordinary, so I've been watching Adventure Time and also Girl on a Motorcycle - Marianne Faithfulls movie from 1968

Its a pretty slow movie, but the story is interesting and Marianne looks lovely in her outfits. When I'm feeling better I may do a review if you like?

For now I'm feeling tired, so how about some nice pictures for this Wednesday instead?

The title of this post comes from the Pink Floyd song, Bike (this was the only coherent version on youtube)

I've been quite lazy with my sewing too, so at some point I'll continue that and then show you all!

  1. I love these pictures, particularly the girls outside Lady Jane. And how cool is that little jacket in the last pic? Hope you feel better soon.

  2. I have that Girl On A Motorcycle advert in the kitchen - it's Jon's favourite film and he nearly died of joy when we found it for a few quid at a car boot sale! xxx

    1. Oh that's neat! I think its one of those songs that could be done in any style and it would sound good - the genius of Syd Barrett maybe?

  7. Amazing pictures! I absolutely LOVE Girl on a Motorcycle, even though most people consider it a very trashy film. Her hair there is my main inspiration for haircuts/style.
I hope you feel better soon, try ginger tea with lime juice, honey and garlic! xxx

    1. I have a bike too but i havnt ridden it in awhile. The back wheel is flat and its very hard to change cause all the gears and such are in the rear hub. Shes got some really cute clothes in that movie - perhaps a style post instead of a movie review?

  9. Oh bike style, I finally got myself a new bike after my old one was stolen (first thing I bought with my big girl paycheck). I can only hope to look half as stylish as these ladies when riding it.

    Anyway, hope you feel better!
