They look fabulous, you did such a great job! Alas I'm a teeny tiny 6 otherwise I would probably be snapping that blue one up! x
ReplyDeleteThank you! wow a size 6! I'll have to try filling my pattern draw with different sizes!
DeleteIt's one of the reasons why I started sewing - I can never find things to fit!
DeleteThey're really beautiful, and such a steal! Unfortunately I'm a size 10 otherwise I'd be snapping up that lovely green one. I don't doubt someone will be taking them off your hands very soon though, they'd be mad not to!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Im glad you said that because for awhile i thought maybe i was charging too much for them! My friend who is a size 10 tried them on, but she has a large bust so i depends i guess. sometimes people are a mix of sizes.
Deletealas, too small for me too :( or else I would snatch up that green one. Let us know if you make any more!
ReplyDeleteI will most certainly and post them here! They are to small for me too - im kinda bummed cause i really like the pattern itself!
DeleteThey're adorable! Too small for me as well, unfortunately, but may I suggest you consider sewing extra frocks on a regular basis?...
ReplyDeleteYes! I definitely would love to do that more often, unfortunately time is a precious thing that i don't poses a lot of even to sew for myself lately! I'd love to sew two of everything i make - one for me and one for sale! that would be a fun idea. but keep a look out because there are more things coming soon ;)
DeleteSEND ME THE BLUE! just cause you love me, thanks! (I'm kidding, but seriously my birthday is coming up...)
ReplyDeleteLol! your birthday is in October! Ill make you a special order then!
DeleteHello again! I've nominated you for the Liebster blog award and so there are some questions for you over at my page. Congratulations and keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much! I really appreciate it! I have already received a few of these lovely awards and i did a little post for it over here. http://sewingthe60s.blogspot.com.au/2013/06/liebster-award-oh-my.html
DeleteI hope you don't mind if i skip on this one?
Oh my goodness, as soon as I saw this post I went to immediately do my measurements. Sometimes I am lucky enough to squeeze into an 8, but alas, the dress is just a couple of inches too small for me! The dresses look great and I will envy the lucky girls (or girl!) who buys them! Do you think you might like to start sewing dresses to sell more frequently? Your creations are brilliant and you are very talented!
ReplyDeleteOh thank you Lucy! i seem to have picked the wrong size pattern or perhaps not many size 8 ladies are out looking for dresses! lol. I have some more awaiting finishing which will be up soon. Their more size 12 but ill try to sew a few different sizes along the way!
DeleteGreat article, love the article
ReplyDeleteDarling, these are gorgeous!!! Ooo, I don't see them sitting around for long!
