Holey moley that's just silly! Milo is the best, so snuggly like having a Horlicks before bed. The recipe cards are actually really good. I've enjoyed making things from my childhood dinners like veal in wine. But there are some really whack recipes in there which are very much out of trend, and some which are considered modern at the moment, but it's funny to find they were popular in the 70s. Oh and the pancake mix is the best! So fat and fluffy! I'm not sure if you are fan of the 60s gothic soap Dark Shadows (i TOTALLY am) but they have this granny square afghan in the show which has become a joke in the fandom. Because of the tiny budget they had when filming, it ended up EVERYWHERE in the show, for over 200 years of Collins family decorating, as well as being spotted in several other family's houses and it was even in Parallel Time. Practically every bed had a granny square blanket, and it was always the same one. Perhaps it is the same one you have, traveling through time and space once more?allie J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07709738770290813570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-842143733350522715.post-23766768343861965022014-08-12T01:33:56.841-07:002014-08-12T01:33:56.841-07:00Oh those mum jeans are awful, I'm sure your sk...Oh those mum jeans are awful, I'm sure your skirt is going to be a huge improvement. It's so wonderfu...Congrats on all of the finds! It's so wonderful when you find just what you're after. That cardigan looks so nice and snuggly. I do love granny square blankets, I keep meaning to teach myself to crochet to make my own. The last time I saw one for sale it was £30, no way! I already knit and I hear crochet is supposed to be easier so I'm hopeful I'll master it and cover my home in blankets (and I totally had to look up what a hot Milo is!) Had to look up the pick-a-deli too, I can understand not wanting to spend $35 on something thats really so basic so how fab that you found one! It's wonderful when patience is rewarded, and I do love it's avocado colour. The recipe box looks awesome! My mum is really into her cooking and most of her cookery books come from the late 70s/early 80s and it's quite fascinating how much food has changed in that time! You don't necessarily think of food as having 'trends'.Sydneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12528183521787705240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-842143733350522715.post-54923223517344460572014-08-10T00:52:36.417-07:002014-08-10T00:52:36.417-07:00Great finds, that skirt is going to be fantastic!Great finds, that skirt is going to be fantastic!Emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02986404360605561731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-842143733350522715.post-79111208032108588732014-08-09T21:21:17.384-07:002014-08-09T21:21:17.384-07:00Love that granny square blanket!!
